POETRY: Dragons and Flatworms

the land looks alive from above.
deepening sockets along the shore
resonate with the visions of dragons,
while dragons themselves submerge,
slip slowly into transparent seas.

there, the destination they yearn to love,
but discover only in a waking dreams.
there, the sleep that retains knowledge.
there, those who accompany them on the trek.
questions, questions, questions.
in the eyes of the sea of dragons,
a nest of flatworms develops next.
