Galileo was the most #underrated polymath of the Italian Renaissance. The simpletons behind the Roman Inquisition sentenced him to house arrest after failing to grasp that the Solar System is a sun orgy and earth is not the father.
Yet the joke was on those Inquisition ingrates as Galileo’s house was full of his favorite toys: pendulums, little Styrofoam models of the solar system, doll hair. Galileo went on to invent physics and the Salad Shooter. Today, we ride wooden roller coasters without dying excessively thanks to the original #underrated heliocentric (yet humble) OG, Galileo Galilei.
