You know you’re old when you fall behind on the latest lingo, don’t care to catch up, and unironically use the word “youth” to describe young people these days. Here’s a list of words and what I think they might mean from the few contexts I’ve seen them in:

Scoop: A lot of cocaine

Finna: Going to do a thing

Yeet: A sound one would make when seeing something slightly alarming, like a mouse. Akin to “eek.”

Skeet: AW SKEETSKEETSKEETSKEETSKEETSKEETSKEET

Dip: Do a marijuana

Mans: Multiple men

Low key: Quiet

High key: Not quiet

Gualla: Guacamole

Rn: I need a nurse

Slick: Hair gel

Geekin: Tweekin

Bet: Wager

Curve: Erection

Salty: Poor attitude that needs mending

Huggle: New drug

Ship: To like something

Dime: Old school drug measurement

Fam: Italian slang for “family”

Basic: White

Westan: A place?

Savage: Behavior becoming of a troglodyte

Gucci: Wasn’t that guy in jail or something?

Sus: Something in which to dip chicken nuggets

Dank: Memes

Fleek: What do you mean no one says “fleek” anymore? I was just getting used to this one.
